Equine Integrated Bodywork promotes good health and forms part of preventative therapy for the equine athlete. By helping the horse to release tension patterns we encourage them to let go of stress from the tissues, stay supple and aid in the speedy recovery from injury or illness. Bodywork is helpful for the performance of the horse both physically as well as for behavioral issues. Aiming to enhance proprioceptive awareness thereby restoring natural alignment in the muscles, tissues and structure of the body, we ultimately assist the horse to perform better with less resistance.

Rachel Boase is fully trained in Equine Craniosacral Therapy (ECST, RCST) and Masterson Method (MMCP, mentor) as well as Shiatsu (MRSS T), and is pleased to integrate the skills acquired over 20 years of human bodywork with her equine practice, finding many are transferable. “Being guided by the horse’s response we can visibly see and feel them release tension as they show us areas needing work. It is very rewarding for both horse and human.”
